About the Role:

As our Bakery Leading Hand, you'll play a key role on the floor—hands-on in production, making sure everything runs safely and smoothly. You'll support the Team Leader as their go-to backup, step in when needed, and help drive improvements across the bakery. From trial runs to ingredient prep and line balancing, you'll be right in the mix, keeping quality high and the team moving forward.

What your days looks like:

  • Support your team in meeting daily goals, motivate them through challenges, and step in for the Team Leader when needed to keep things on track.

  • Help deliver production plans by managing resources, preparing ingredients, and ensuring the line is set up correctly for daily operations.

  • Take part in trials, assist with product launches, help maintain equipment, reduce waste, and contribute to solving safety, quality, or process issues.

  • Participate in daily meetings, share updates, escalate issues early, and make sure the team stays aligned and informed throughout each shift.

  • Promote a strong safety culture by following HSE procedures, completing training, and working with the HSE advisor to identify improvements.

  • A strong team player who can also work independently when needed
