The Sprinkle Factory is New Zealand's only manufacturer of non-pareils (100's and 1,000's).  The site also creates sprinkles, toppings and ingredient inclusions for products used around the world.

Sweet Moments Group, the owner of The Sprinkle Factory, is a manufacturer & wholesaler of bakery and cake supplies, brands and creative solutions to retail & commercial markets.  Our products can be found in leading supermarkets, specialty retailers, food distributors and are used by the greatest cake artists, bakers, food manufacturers & brands from throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.

About the role

This isn't your average Food Manufacturing role...

We are looking for 2 team members to join our production team 5 days a week 6-8 hours a day. This will be shift work from 11am to 7.30pm although initial training will be 6.30am-3pm with the morning shift.

Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you are someone who can support the team in achieving our goals and to be part of creating billions of sweet moments?

Full support and training will be provided to the successful candidate, An immediate start is on offer.

Skills & experience required:

  • You are a super capable, reliable, organised team player that gets the job done to a high standard.
  • You are passionate about our products you help to create and take pride in what you do.
  • Sound numerical and verbal reasoning skills in order to work with recipes, weights and measures.
  • Physically fit as this role does require lifting of bags and pails from 10Kg to 25Kg.
  • Ideally you will have had some exposure to the food industry and understand food handling procedures.
  • Attention to detail, punctual, clean habits, hardworking and a willingness to learn.
  • Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating maturity and with potential for advancement.
  • Training will be given.

Hours: Rostered hours, up to 40 hours a week; Monday to Friday; Immediate Start.

The successful applicant will undergo a full induction programme along with regular training as part of our commitment to our Food Safety programme.
