BAKER - Production Bakery

Molly Woppy has significant growth and we need to increase our bakery team size. We have an opportunity for experienced BAKERS to join our committed and professional team. Someone who can bring their baking skills and energy to join our growing and expanding team, to do what we believe in and to love what you do.

Molly Woppy is a home-grown, family-owned, artisan food business. We are a stable fast growing business that is really going places. Our products are unique and made with passion, care, and heart. They are sold in cafes, supermarkets, and other outlets around the country and beyond.

What's the role?

On a day to day basis you will:

• Work within the bakery and pack rooms to ensure production goals are achieved
• Be part of our experienced and committed team.
• Work with our production management to achieve targets and grow our teams capability.
• Prepare doughs, use bakery equipment, hand mold and finish products
• Have strong knowledge of bakery workings and equipment
• Be a great communicator who enjoys working within a team
• Ability and willingness to pass on knowledge to other team members adding value to a strong and happy environment
• Have a creative flair when it comes to assisting with product development

What do I need to have?

• Able to follow systems and processes
• Excellent English, both interpreting and comprehending
• Have minimum 3 years previous food handling and bakery experience

• Understand and follow food safety procedures.
• Participate in and follow Health and Safety requirements.
• You need to be professional, reliable, committed and trustworthy.
• Have the ability to work to deadlines and have a great eye for detail.

Hours of Work:

• Monday – Friday
• Occasionally Saturdays during peak seasonal periods.
• Full time
• Day shifts (early morning 5am start)
