Are you a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with proven experience in aural micro-suction? We are seeking a motivated professional to join our supportive and patient-focused team at Workable Occupational Health. You will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and high-quality ear health services, specializing in the removal of ear wax and foreign bodies using micro-suction.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative occupational health environment, significantly improving the quality of life for our clients in Hawkes Bay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical assessment and management of patients presenting with ear health issues (e.g., blocked ears, otitis externa).
  • Safely and effectively perform micro-suction procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive patient education and aftercare advice regarding ear hygiene.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional and legal requirements.
  • Manage and sterilize equipment according to best practice standards.
  • Collaborate with GPs, specialists, and other healthcare professionals as required.
Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCZN).
  • Excellent clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Experience as a micro-suction ear nurse is essential.
  • A caring, empathetic, and professional approach to patient care.
  • Eligibility to work legally in New Zealand.
