Join our Platform Engineering team and play a vital role in safeguarding Auckland Council's SAP environment. As a SAP Support Analyst, you'll be responsible for the technical administration, execution, and maintenance of SAP Security and workflow.You'll ensure system integrity, proactively identify and mitigate security risks, and work closely with change and release management, developers, testers, infrastructure engineers, and security specialists to embed SAP security best practices.In this role, you will:Implement, test, and maintain SAP security profiles and user recordsAdminister SAP workflows and resolve workflow errorsSupport audits and ensure compliance with information security standardsMaintain and update security policies, procedures, and documentationCollaborate with colleagues to improve processes and share knowledgeProvide timely and professional technical support to internal customersThis is a great opportunity for someone with strong SAP experience who enjoys collaborating, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement in a large, complex enterprise environment.

You'll bring strong technical skills and a solid understanding of SAP security and workflow administration. You're analytical, solutions-focused, and comfortable working across a range of stakeholders to deliver outcomes that support both business operations and compliance.Your background will include:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years' hands-on experience administering SAP security and workflowIn-depth knowledge of SAP application security, role-based access controls, and segregation of duties (SoD)Experience supporting ERP, SRM, CRM, BW, and Enterprise PortalAbility to troubleshoot software, data, and integration issues on enterprise-scale platformsExcellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skillsDesirable qualifications include:ITIL certificationFamiliarity with SAFe Agile and Scrum methodologies
