**The Role**

The Senior Functional Analyst SAP will provide business advice/solutions as it relates to systems and processes, with particular focus on those involving our SAP services. These include:

- Design, develop and manage the implementation of new functionality plus supporting processes to address business opportunities.
- Support and maintain existing SAP solutions
- Ensure relevant help & system documentation is maintained and that SAP users are adequately supported to perform their roles.
- Maintain SAP system integrity and compliance by adequate testing of changes and implementing/ following necessary controls.
- Monitor for business transaction abnormalities - address the symptoms and identify ways to reduce impact and frequency of recurrence
- Identify business improvement opportunities.

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated experience (7 years+) supporting SAP (ECC 6 or later) in a Distribution environment, preferably in the consumer foods industry.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP MM, WM and SD.
- Proven ability to communicate with people of diverse disciplines & backgrounds and to translate between business issues & technical issues.
- Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Demonstrated understanding of Supply chain - how one issue may be part of a larger issue and may impact on/interact with other systems/processes/business areas.
- Detailed knowledge of SAP functionality for SAP Inbound Logistics, SAP Outbound Logistics, SAP Procurement
- Proven track record of successfully leading functional implementation initiatives, including training and change management.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field - Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Other required skills include: Excellent Communication, Excellent Writing and Documentation, Critical Thinking, Complex Problem Solving and Strong Relationship Building.
