HCLTech New Zealand is seeking a skilled SAP Test Analyst to support testing activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing and executing test cases, reporting defects, and ensuring effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams.

Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to define test objective, write test cases and work with multiple teams ensuring timely defect resolution.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases for SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Identify and track defects using Test Management tool (OpenText/Microfocus/HP ALM).
- Communicate effectively to coordinate between technical and functional teams.
- Provide regular progress updates and escalate issues to the Test Manager as needed.
- Ensure all testing activities are conducted in alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience: Proven experience in testing SAP systems, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA.
- Functional Knowledge: Hands-on experience in testing Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales or Finance processes in SAP will be a significant advantage.
- Tools: Proficiency with testing tools (ALM).
- Communication: Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively across teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Reporting: Experience in preparing detailed test reports and providing progress updates to stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
