We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented professional who consistently goes the extra mile to deliver outstanding outcomes for both our customers and our business.

Key to success in this role is the ability and willingness to work across different areas of Cyclone, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will need a safety-conscious mindset and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.

You will take ownership of the warehouse Inwards Goods and Inventory Control functions, ensuring inventory accuracy, optimal stowage, and smooth product flow.

What You Will Do:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will work within our National Logistics Centre as a key contributor to our growing suite of 3PL and value-added service solutions.

Primarily, you will operate within our Warehousing and Logistics area, but you will also provide support to our Service Delivery and Technical teams, which will require you to work independently at times.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Oversee inwards goods, inventory replenishment, and warehouse optimisation functions.
  • Allocate tasks efficiently to the Inwards team to meet daily and weekly objectives.
  • Train team members on systems and processes, ensuring safe and competent use of equipment.
  • Plan and schedule inwards goods deliveries, ensuring resources are available for timely receipt.
  • Oversee loading and unloading of freight trucks.
  • Receive inventory from local suppliers, customers, or other branches, including counting, scanning, verifying, bin allocation, labelling, and put-away.
  • Book and cost freight via online portals or over the phone.
  • Manage stock transfers, consolidation, stock counts, and variance investigations.
  • Perform production-related duties to bundle or assemble stock for custom orders.
  • Maintain general warehouse standards and complete other duties as required.
  • Develop and foster positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
