Inwards Goods Coordinator

CARTERS Kaiwharawhara is a leading supplier of building and construction materials to the trade sector.
As an Inwards Goods Coordinator your primary goal is to meticulously inspect, receive and document all incoming product deliveries into the branch.
You'll be the perfect fit for this role if you thrive on accuracy and efficiency of information and processes as you:
- Conduct detailed inspections and accurately document all incoming goods, ensuring precise barcoding and pricing records are maintained.
- Sustain inventory levels, ensure seamless stock replenishment, conduct daily audits of stock receipts and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general store housekeeping.
- Provide service at the counter when needed to quickly and efficiently pick, assemble, and load customer orders.
- Recommend suitable products, tailored to customer preferences.
About you
As well as your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, you will have the following skills, qualities, and certifications:
- Valid FULL NZ Driver's License is Essential
- Forklift F Endorsed Licence with OSH Certificate is desirable
- Physically fit
- Someone who values teamwork and approaches tasks with a positive mindset
- Capable in navigating computer systems with a firm grasp of technology
- Building industry knowledge is advantageous.
