Bethlehem Shores is a well-established, and premium, community in Tauranga known for its luxurious independent living options – and we have been busy developing an adjoining, purpose-built care centre with Living Well Apartments and Care Suites. Now, we need to build a passionate and committed team to support the care centre, and its new residents, who will start moving in from March 2026.
We're looking for a driven person, passionate about holistic care, to join our team as a Wellness Leader. This role leads the implementation of our Attitude of Living Well approach, which sits at the heart of Arvida's philosophy of care and resident engagement.
As Wellness Leader you will be supporting and empowering team members to engage with our residents in a way that is relationship-focused supports our five pillars of wellness: eating well, resting well, moving well, thinking well, and engaging well.
Working 40 hours per week across Monday - Friday, you will hold an important role within our community, forming part of the leadership team, and reporting directly to the Village Manager.

- A passion for people living and working in aged care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire others through persuasive communication and relationship building.
- Previous experience in delivering high-quality programs to individuals and groups with past evidence of the ability to engage with a wide variety of people to work toward a common shared goal.
- Clear and concise written communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy with advanced user of Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
- Leadership, influencing skills, and good communication (both oral and written) are essential parts of this role.
