The main duties will include

General maintenance of farms
- the employee is to keep the grounds of the farm clean and mowing lawns, weeding,
- repairing farm buildings and fences,
- cleaning of farm equipment and vehicles,
- operating and maintenance of farm machinery, cleaning crates and containers, picking up any rubbish, washing of farm buildings and fences,
- helping to lay and pick up weed matts,
- monitoring weather and liaising with farm manager to take appropriate actions i.e. using mini digger to create a temporary swale to channel water out.

**DESCRIPTION FOR SITE TEAM LEADER**:
Anhad Horticulture Ltd,is looking for hard working and punctual Site Team Leaders. It is full time roleminimum 30 hours per week.

**Requirements**:

- Must have valid drivers licence or international licence equivalent to New Zealand Licence

As a Site Team Leader you need to be:

- confidentand caring towards workers
- patient, adaptable and practical
- able to show initiative and make decisions
- well orgainzed, goal focused and forward thinking
- able to work well independently and as a part of team
- good at communicating and managing people

**duties will include**:

- recording and reporting the of key orchard data when required
- completion and filing of work sheets
- Direct and coordinate the workers ensuring orchards activities
- guide the workers with operational involvement as require in the harvest
- ensuring that development and harvesting are completed timely and effectively to ensure company production
- Ensure the standard and quality of workmanship and appearance of orchards is at high level
- Responsible for recruitment of staff within the specified team
- Lead the team and make key personal decisions in terms of HR best practice and instruct theworkers to do
- the needfultask expected of them
- train staff where applicable ensuring staff are aware of grade standards, best practice techniques and products
- maintain a safe working environment and practices for all parties
- Review tools and equipment regularly to ensure staff safety
