Commercial Ducting is an industrial cleaning company with 6 branches across New Zealand specialising in cleaning commercial kitchen extraction systems.

Based in Silverdale, this is an office based role, 40 hours per week, working 8:30am to 5:00pm.

As an Assistant Coordinator you will support an experienced Booking Co-ordinator, booking work for 5-6 teams working across Auckland and Northland.

You will need to be organised and diligent, assisting with all aspects of booking, planning and ensuring the jobs have the correct paperwork, hire equipment, keys collected, site instructions noted and accommodation booked when needed, for our teams to deliver exceptional service.

This is a busy, time-based role, with lots of moving parts that require checking and double-checking for accuracy. Our clients have individual induction requirements for us to comply with, you'll attach clearances, training certifications, H&S forms, photo reports and other documentation as required. If you thrive on getting the details right, learning new skills and working in a busy role, you'll love this position.

You Will:

  • Have a confident and proactive telephone manner
  • Be able to communicate with ease with both staff and clients
  • Work efficiently to deadlines and produce accurate results
  • Love being across the detail, double-checking schedules to ensure the logistics are fully aligned
  • Easily learn new software and follow standard processes
  • Be fully accountable for tasks assigned and eager to learn to take on more responsibility
  • Be able to work confidently in Microsoft 365 programs Outlook, Excel, Word & Powerpoint

  • A professional and approachable manner
  • An ability to work to deadlines
  • The legal entitlement to work in New Zealand & be already in NZ
  • Worked in similar roles, or proven skills to fit the position
