Auckland Transport is seeking a visionary Delivery Manager to lead our Technology Solutions team at Viaduct. What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of new and enhanced technology solutions, supporting day-to-day operations and driving strategic change.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with Auckland Transport's vision and business objectives.
• Coach, mentor, and empower a dynamic team, fostering a culture of innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior managers, stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers to deliver optimal service and successful project outcomes.
• Champion best practice in financial management, procurement, risk management, and health & safety.
• Ensure robust reporting and project confidence for the Executive Leadership Team.

| About you
We are looking for seasoned Delivery Manager who is outcome driven, organised and resilient with excellent communication skills adept at navigating political terrain. A natural people leader, you will bring some of the below:

• A strong understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of Local Government or complex organisations, including current and future business drivers and statutory requirements
• Ability to drive collaboration across business areas and build & lead a high performance team
• Ability to demonstrate a disciplined approach to managing a significant budget
• Experience managing significant change
• At least 15 years' experience in programme management in an IT environment
• A relevant tertiary qualification or substantial relevant business and industry experience
• Finally, Agile experience would be highly advantageous
