1. Experience (15+ years) in programme delivery, solution, strategy development and execution.
2. Dynamic and strategic leader with a strong understanding of SAP technologies, market trends, and the ability to drive execution excellence.

6. Strong commercial AMS skills with a track record in developing and managing complex AMS contracts profitably
7. Strong knowledge of SAP solutions, modules, and best practices.
8. Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

What's it like day-to-day?

Great question Here's a snapshot of what your day would look like at Lagom:

Service Delivery & Support Leadership

• Lead end-to-end SAP AMS delivery, ensuring performance, quality, and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
• Manage a global delivery team (onshore/offshore), overseeing incident management, change requests, system enhancements, and continuous improvement.
• Establish governance structures and best practices for AMS delivery, including KPIs, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactive engagement, regular service reviews, and issue resolution.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary delivery contact for key AMS clients, managing expectations, scope, and escalations.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders, including CIOs, IT Directors, and Business Leads.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, and business analysts to translate client requirements into effective SAP solution, Technical and Enterprise QA.

AMS

• Develop and lead the organization's managed services strategy, aligning it with the overall business strategy for Lagom and ensuring it aligns with the needs of our current and future customers required outcomes.
• Responsible for looking at opportunities to optimise existing products, identify and develop new products related to SAP products for AMS clients, with the goal of increasing business opportunities and relevance for our customers
• Responsible for managing a team of delivery professionals and ensuring that they are delivering high-quality SAP professional services to AMS clients. This involves setting clear expectations, providing coaching and support, and ensuring that the team is meeting key performance indicators.
• Improving service delivery processes and procedures related to SAP products for growth enterprise clients, with the goal of increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving client satisfaction.

Sales Enablement & Practice Growth

• Partner with the sales team during pre-sales activities, contributing to RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, and effort estimation for AMS opportunities.
• Present SAP AMS capabilities, value propositions, and delivery models to prospective clients.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and support expansion of service scope.
• Drive thought leadership and innovation within the AMS practice, including automation, AI-enabled support, and value-added services

Finance & Reporting

• Ensure monthly financial reporting for the practice is accurate by collaborating with the internal support team.
• Oversee the budget & forecasting for the practice.

General

• Networks & relationships: Maintain a strong connection into the New Zealand business transformation ecosystem, including relevant vendors, customers, industry bodies and professional associations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and ensure the practice is adapting to changing market conditions.
• Uphold the Lagom's organisational values, promoting integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Treat colleagues and customers with the utmost care and respect, fostering positive working relationships.
• Represent the employer in a professional manner during all interactions, both internal and external.
