About the role

You will be a part of Datamine's Delivery and Implementation team (we call them Owls) ensuring the smooth running of data, analytics, and AI projects, and that they add ongoing value to our clients. This involves collaborating with both internal teams and clients to clarify project requirements and ultimately translating technical outputs to present a compelling story. You take a proactive approach to solution implementation and can create meaningful professional relationships with our clients.

A week in the life of a Client and Delivery might involve:

• Clarifying project deliverables with clients and internal teams
• Proactively engaging with a client to manage the account and follow up on new opportunities to help them with problems
• Consulting with a client on a problem they are facing
• Running a planning meeting with the technical team
• Attending Client Work in Progress meetings
• Taking a sales proposal and turning it into a detailed specification
• Translating technical outputs into business insights that wow the client
• Managing the progress of your current projects and programmes of work
• Participating in your weekly team meeting and sharing any findings from recent projects
• Updating core project management systems and reporting project progress to the wider team

You would fit right in at Datamine if you have:

• 5 years of commercial experience, preferably in a consulting environment
• Experience managing projects and or coordinating programmes of work
• A tertiary degree (likely in Business/Commerce, but possibly in business analytics)
• Experience in B2B delivery roles, customer success, account management, or project coordination roles
• Solid skills in Microsoft suite
• A desire to be part of a collaborative team that puts overall business success ahead of individual achievements
• Business insights/commercial acumen that you can apply across industries
• The ability to translate technical to non-technical speak (exposure to data/analytics beneficial)
• Strong time management skills that enable you to bring in a project on budget and on time
• High written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to juggle priorities, making it look easy
• Know how to talk to people, both of the technical and non-technical variety (be personable)
• The ability to bring clarity and problem solve
• A desire to continue learning and share your learnings with others
• A collaborative approach to your projects and team
