Facilities Manager – Parking Operations
Auckland | Full-time | Leadership Role with New Zealand's Leading Parking Provider
At Wilson Parking New Zealand, we're more than just a place to park — we're part of the everyday journey for thousands of Kiwis. As the nation's largest parking operator, we pride ourselves on operational excellence, customer service, and creating smarter, safer parking experiences across the country.
We're looking for a hands-on and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee our Auckland parking portfolio, ensuring every site operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of presentation and service.
About the Role
Reporting to the Business Manager Operations – Parking (Auckland), this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation, performance, and profitability of multiple parking sites across the region.
You'll provide visible, proactive leadership — supporting on-site teams, managing contractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering the seamless customer experience Wilson is known for.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems in real time, and taking ownership of operational results.
What You'll Do
- Lead, support and motivate on-site staff across multiple parking locations
- Oversee daily operations to ensure sites meet presentation, safety, and performance standards
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with company and OH&S policies
- Manage budgets, expenses, and contribute to revenue growth opportunities
- Respond to and resolve operational or customer issues promptly and professionally
- Report on site performance, financials, and maintenance requirements
- Provide input on pricing, signage, and infrastructure improvements
- Be part of a rostered after-hours on-call team to support 24/7 operations
About You
You're a proactive, practical leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You're equally comfortable managing people, analysing data, and rolling up your sleeves when needed.
You'll bring:
- 3+ years' experience in a facilities, operations, or service management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, contractors, and competing priorities
- Sound understanding of OH&S and compliance requirements
- Good computer literacy (Excel, Word, databases)
- A customer-first mindset and a commitment to excellence
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and company vehicle
- Mobile phone and tools of trade provided
- Opportunities for career growth across a national organisation
- A supportive and collaborative team culture
- The chance to make a visible impact in a trusted, long-standing brand
If you're a motivated operations leader who takes pride in quality, accountability, and customer satisfaction — we want to hear from you.
Apply now and take the next step in your career with Wilson Parking New Zealand.
