Bank Manager

• Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays if the branch is 6 day trading)
   

Ready to lead a team that's as passionate about people as they are about banking? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Bank Manager to take the reins in one of our vibrant Manawatū-Whanganui regional branches. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be the driving force behind your team's success, leading with heart, strategy, and a whole lot of local pride.
 

This role is all about connection. You'll be shaping how we show up for our customers, our communities, and each other; through modern spaces, smart tech, and a team that's empowered to deliver exceptional experiences. You'll lead a talented crew of Banking Specialists and Customer Service Representatives, supported with by an Assistant Bank Manager, helping them grow and thrive while delivering top-tier service across personal banking, business banking, and wealth.
 

You're a natural connector. Your customers know you, trust you, and see your team as local legends. You bring energy, empathy, and expertise to everything you do. To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience as a successful leader, and ideally lender

• Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills

• Expert knowledge of the financial services industry

• A knack for leading change and coaching others

• FA qualification (desired)

• Local insight and community awareness (a bonus)

• A business tertiary qualification (preferred)
