About the role

As a Fire Alarm Technician at Red Security & Fire Ltd, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Fire Alarm Systems in new and existing commercial premises across Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty region. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Installation of new fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and client requirements
  2. Conducting inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
  3. Troubleshooting and repairing any issues or faults with fire alarm systems
  4. Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and reporting any issues or concerns to the management team
  5. Providing excellent customer service to our clients and responding to call-outs in a timely and professional manner
  6. Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a fire alarm technician or in a similar role
  2. Level 4 Fire Qualification would be advantageous
  3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  4. Strong communication and customer service skills
  5. A clean valid driver's licence
