Business Development Manager I Nutraceutical

The Opportunity
Business Development Manager to take sole responsibility for managing and growing the business across the New Zealand market. This is a remote, home-based position reporting directly to the VP of APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and sales targets in the New Zealand market.
- Identify new business opportunities and foster strong relationships with B2B customers across key sectors.
- Build and maintain the organisation's image and reputation among customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for key customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts, and present findings to senior management.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry forums.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to maintain long-term trust and partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in sales and business development within the nutraceutical ingredients or dietary supplements industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in international markets.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, market dynamics, and customer segments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
