This is a pivotal role focused on driving new business acquisition, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored payment solutions to small and mid-market businesses.

  • Generate new business prospects through research, networking events, and referrals
  • Engage and influence decision-makers from business owners to CFOs and C-Suite executives
  • Manage new client accounts through the transition stage, ensuring long-term success
  • Act as a subject-matter expert across industries and regions, confidently articulating solutions
  • Stay ahead of compliance, legislative requirements, and payment industry developments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to close opportunities and deliver value
  • Identify referral partnerships to strengthen market presence and client reach

  • Proven background in FX markets or payments industry
  • Strong B2B sales experience with commercial acumen
  • Track record of selling into mid-market and corporate organisations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across diverse client groups
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Skilled in consultative sales, top-of-funnel development, and executive-level negotiations
  • Independent, self-motivated, and tenacious in driving growth
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships and deliver new business acquisition
  • Permanent working rights in New Zealand are essential
