AS Wilcox & Sons (Wilcox) is a fourth-generation family-owned business and one of New Zealand's leading growers and marketers of root crops. Through our export brand Sofresh, we proudly supply premium produce to customers across Europe, Asia, and the Pacific.

We are seeking an Export Logistics Support team member to join our Pukekohe-based team for the 2026 export season. This is a great opportunity for someone with logistics and customer service experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts.

This is a fixed-term seasonal role running from 8 January to 8 May 2026. In December there will be a week of training and induction. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring our produce reaches international customers on time and in top condition. You'll be an integral part of our export team during our peak season.

About the Role

You'll support our export team to deliver the export marketing plan by managing the shipping and logistics components of customer orders. Your work will ensure our produce is dispatched in full and on time, while maintaining strong communication between customers and shipping companies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating shipping programs to meet customer arrival requirements
  • Processing orders and shipping bookings with packhouses and carriers
  • Tracking shipments and resolving delivery issues proactively
  • Managing container bookings, supply, and allocation
  • Lodging export entries with NZ Customs

About You

You'll bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. You'll enjoy working in a team that values collaboration, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a shipping logistics role

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer service role

  • Working knowledge of export/import requirements and freight/shipping processes

  • Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word)

  • NZ Customs Accreditation (preferred)
