About the role

This part-time role within the ACORN GROUP' team in Canterbury Region offers an exciting opportunity to support merchandising and compliance efforts. As a Compliance & Merchandising Support Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our retail outlets meet all necessary standards and regulations. This includes overseeing planogram implementation, stock management, and visual merchandising. With a focus on maintaining a consistent, high-quality customer experience across our stores, this role will be integral to the continued success of our business in the region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular store visits to audit compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards
  2. Booking and building in-store displays according to visual merchandising guidelines
  3. Implementing and maintaining visual merchandising planograms to optimise product presentation and flow
  4. Monitoring stock levels and replenishing inventory as needed to prevent out-of-stocks
  5. Providing feedback and recommendations to stores to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  6. Collaborating with the wider merchandising team to develop and rollout new initiatives
  7. Maintaining detailed records and reporting on store compliance and performance metrics

What we're looking for

  1. 1-2 years of experience in a retail merchandising, compliance, or visual merchandising role
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  3. Excellent organisational and time management skills to juggle tasks across multiple locations
  4. Confident communication skills to liaise effectively with store teams and Acorn Group HQ
  5. A passion for creating engaging in-store experiences and driving operational excellence
  6. Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed. Travel is a crucial part of this role as it covers all Canterbury Region.
