PROGRAMME OPERATIONS MANAGER

PERMANENT FULL TIME

The Southern Institute of Technology, a business division of NZIST, is currently seeking a Programme Operations Manager to fill the above vacancy in our SIT2LRN Faculty, at the Invercargill Campus.

The primary objective of this role is to deliver robust programme management and oversee staff supervision, while providing leadership in identifying and implementing fresh programme opportunities, as well as ensuring the delivery of high-quality education. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for providing students with the necessary support and guidance to help them achieve their maximum potential.

The successful applicant will preferably have a master's degree, with an adult education qualification being advantageous. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrable skills and experience in staff management, customer relationships, academic content management, development, and industry experience (preferably in primary industries/management). Computing expertise, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, is required, as is the ability to show flexibility in meeting the challenges of this role.

As most of the work will involve liaising and building relationships with external customers, the successful applicant must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills and be a smart thinker who can use initiative and provide solutions.
