Warehouse Coordinator

The Natural Pet Treat Company is a manufacturer and exporter of premium New Zealand pet food and treats. As the company continues to expand, we are looking for a full time Warehouse Coordinator in a newly created role.

This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, systematic, and methodical in their approach to ensure accuracy and efficiency across the board. A good level of physical fitness is required as a majority of the work will be carried out on your feet. Computer literacy is also a must for the documentation side of the role. This role reports to the Floor Manager and works closely with our teams and key personnel.

The 40 hour week will be spread across Monday-Saturday with the majority hours between 11am-7pm.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A high level of organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and manage their workload efficiently
• SAP experience
• Forklift operating experience
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to lead and instruct a small team
• The ability to understand and follow SOP's and regulatory requirements
• Flexibility in work hours as needed to meet deadlines

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Organising, maintaining, and managing the warehouse to a high standard
• Delivering product and packaging to our teams as needed
• Coordinating inwards and outwards goods
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Configuring pallets and containers according to export requirements
• Accurate inventory, stocktaking, and record keeping
• Maintaining a safe and organised environment
• Documentation, data entry (SAP), enterprise resource planning, and reporting
• Communicating regularly with your Manager and team
