The Position:

We're looking for an HR Advisor who thrives on variety, brings great attention to detail, and enjoys building relationships that make work better for everyone.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a hands-on, purpose-driven role supporting our team as we grow and transform. From running payroll and supporting leaders, to delivering people initiatives and enabling change, your work will have real impact across the organisation.

You'll join a values-led People & Culture team that plays a critical role in supporting the success, wellbeing, and capability of our people during an exciting time of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end responsibility for running our fortnightly payroll
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance, and development processes
  • Advising and coaching leaders on best practice HR, Employee relations, and policies
  • Contributing to a range of People & Culture initiatives and projects, including chairing the people and culture committee
  • Supporting organisational change, capital development, and engagement activity
  • Keeping HR data and reporting accurate, compliant, and actionable

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 2–4 years' experience in a generalist HR or advisory role
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of NZ employment law and best practice HR
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with great interpersonal skills
  • A proactive mindset, you're comfortable managing your own workload and identifying what matters most
  • Discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
  • A passion for people, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to grow
