Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end export shipments.
  • Coordinate bookings, flight, Saling schedules, and cut-offs with airlines, shipping lines and freight partners.
  • Prepare and lodge export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, air waybills, bills of lading, export declarations, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure all RMP and DG cargo is processed, declared, and handled in accordance with MPI and IATA regulations.
  • Track shipments, proactively updating clients and overseas agents to ensure service timelines are met.
  • Accurately complete and file all shipment-related paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure data accuracy with invoicing.

Customer Service & Quoting:

  • Provide clear and timely communication to clients, agents, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and issue quotes for air freight export shipments, ensuring rates are accurate and competitive.
  • Liaise with Sales and Finance to ensure client expectations and pricing align with service delivery.
  • Manage client queries and service updates professionally and promptly.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in freight forwarding.
  • Solid understanding of Customs, MPI, RMP, RACA and DG compliance requirements.
  • Experience preparing and managing export documentation.
  • Ability to prepare and manage client quotes.
  • Strong time management, accuracy, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Customs pin desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of CW1 an advantage.
