TECT Community Trust and BayTrust are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced investment professionals for a contracted Investment Manager role. This unique opportunity involves providing specialist investment oversight and support to both Trusts, overseeing diversified portfolios, supporting Investment Committees, and collaborating with external advisors.

Key Features of the Role

· Contracted position, jointly serving TECT Community Trust and BayTrust

· Approximately 8 hours per week for each trust, with flexibility required

· Focus on portfolio oversight, governance support, and collaborative initiatives

· At least 20% of time dedicated to identifying and implementing collaborative opportunities across similar organisations in the Bay of Plenty

· Work closely with external investment advisors (Frontier Advisors for TECT, Cambridge Associates for BayTrust)

· Engage with Trustees, Chief Executives, and impact investment networks

Ideal Candidate

· Demonstrated experience in investment management, portfolio oversight, or institutional funds management

· Strong understanding of diversified portfolios across multiple asset classes

· Proven ability to deliver clear, insightful investment reporting to boards and committees

· Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline

Contract Details

· Initial 12-month contract, with a 6-month interim review

· Potential for ongoing engagement beyond the first year

· Flexible working arrangements, with offices in Tauranga and some work-from-home ability
