He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role

As our Christchurch based Referral Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for social service agencies for housing referrals. This role will act as the primary contact for referrals, providing phone and written support to referrers. It will involve direct coordination with regional teams to manage the entry, transfer, and exit of tenants and service users from Accommodation Services.

This role primarily focuses on leveraging your strong administrative and communication skills to ensure a well-documented and seamless process in all interactions, both internal and external.

Although the role is mainly administrative, it also involves some community engagement, so you'll need to be able to communicate effectively with the whānau we serve to ensure their needs are met.
