**Where You’ll Make an Impact**:

- Lead with compassion while overseeing this boutique care home offering 48-beds across hospital and rest home level of care.
- Provide seamless person-centred care to the residents and their families.
- Utilise your previous aged care background to enrich the residents’ lives with personalised care with the support of a global company.
- Recruit, retain, and lead your team while facilitating the development of their careers.
- Meet occupancy targets, participate in the development of P&L statements, and manage your budget.
- Demonstrate leadership in Quality & Risk Management and Health and Safety requirements.

With an elevated position, this care home offers panoramic views over the gorgeous Hillsborough Bay and Onehunga township, placed near Mt Roskill and Epsom. **Your Person-First Approach**:
You have a passion for people, understanding individual residents’ needs and behaviours, while working in a collaborative, engaging, and empathetic style. You will have the ability to bring the team along the journey with you and implement changes.
- Proven experience as an aged care / healthcare manager.
- You will be someone who enjoys walking the floor, helping where needed and providing support to your team, residents, and their families.
- Experience leading and coaching large teams while promoting development opportunities.
- Financial and budget management experience.
- Experience and strong evidence of developing a culture of trust, performance, and transparency focused on the residents.
- Enjoy working with stakeholders, including liaising with the DHB, Allied Health team, local community, residents, and families.
- Resilience, adaptability, with a caring attitude to residents, staff, and visitors.
- Audit management and leading continuous quality improvements.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
