Do you have an interest in honey production? What about the potential to move into a beekeeping career? Right now, we are looking for fixed termers to assist with the extraction of our honey harvest. The period of Extraction is from beginning December through to end of March/April. We are located on the outskirts of Cambridge.

Initially these are fixed term positions however, should you show an interest and wish to learn more, some of these roles could lead into the Beekeeping team permanently.

The extraction role will have a base hourly rate, plus an incentive component whereby you will be measured against a KPI and if that target is reached, you will receive a further payment. Full details to be provided should you attend an interview.

Our Extraction Operations Shift will be:

  • Day shift: 7:00am– 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Extraction role responsibilities:

  • Operation of honey extraction machinery
  • Extraction record keeping through online systems and tablets
  • Heavy lifting of up to 20kg at times
  • Clean down processes between batches

Personal attributes needed for these positions are to:

  • Honest and reliable
  • Strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Used to physical, repetitive work
  • Food processing or factory experience an advantage
  • Have your own transport and work references a must

A full training program will be provided along with all the PPE required for each role.
