Christchurch Central, New Zealand Farmlands Co-operative Full time NZ$80,000 - NZ$120,000 per year

Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

At Farmlands, we're on an exciting transformation journey — building the co-operative for the next generation of farmers and growers. The Change Manager plays a pivotal role in this transformation on key projects, ensuring our teams understand, adopt and sustain new ways of working so that the benefits of change are fully realised.

You'll work closely with project managers, sponsors and business leaders to design and implement practical, people-focused change strategies across key projects. This role is not just about frameworks — it's about creating real, measurable impact through readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, communication and adoption support.

You'll also help embed change management practices within our EPMO, developing organisational capability and consistency in how we deliver change across Farmlands.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role, offering a rare opportunity to influence transformation at the heart of New Zealand's largest farming co-operative.

Mōhou ake | About you

You'll bring a blend of strategic insight and hands-on delivery. You're experienced in major transformation or large-scale organisational change and confident engaging at all levels of the business — from the boardroom to the front line. You're the kind of person who thrives on connecting people to purpose, translating change into what it means for them and seeing adoption outcomes through.

  • Experience in project delivery involving organisational change.

  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, tools and methodologies.

  • Skill in leading readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement and communications.

  • The ability to influence, coach and motivate others through change.

  • Flexibility, resilience and a proactive approach in dynamic or ambiguous environments.

  • A collaborative, inspiring leadership style with strong time management and follow-through.

  • A relevant tertiary qualification.

Mō ngā painga | About the benefits

  • Sick leave from Day 1.

  • Paid birthday leave.

  • Access to training through our online library, The Greenhouse.

  • Staff discounts at Farmlands Retail Stores.
