Speedy Signs Penrose is a leading supplier of signage and graphic solutions to top tier clients. We are currently seeking a highly organized, energetic, customer focused person to join us in the role of Signage Production Manager

The person we seek will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of quality customer service, where nothing is a problem and always goes above and beyond every client's expectations. You must also understand that the "manager" title means more than just a paycheck, you will be expected to proactively lead your team and manage their day-to-day activities.

In the role of Production Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Signage design work in FlexiSign, Illustrator and Photoshop quickly and accurately, so a creative flair and technical understanding of sign making is critical, as is experience working in FlexiSign or similar design software.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the production and signwriting teams, including scheduling jobs and communicating with sales staff and customers to ensure delivery expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure all jobs are well prepared and thought through so the signwriters and other production staff have all the resources they need to complete their jobs in a timely manner. This includes ordering stock or other resources (height access etc), ensuring the job is fully documented, and that production has been completed in advance of the scheduled install date.
  • Maintain quality and ensure the production and signwriting teams are producing and installing all products to the highest standards.

You must have a signage background, either as a signwriter or experience in a similar signage production role. Experience in design software such as Flexi, Illustrator or similar is essential.

You must also be a NZ citizen or currently live in New Zealand with unrestricted work privileges. We are an accredited employer so can help with transferring work visas if required.

You will be working with an experienced capable team in a spacious well-equipped environment that includes the latest HP Latex printing equipment, flatbed printer, CNC finishing table and laser cutter.
