We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our growing team — someone who's not just organised and experienced, but passionate about improving systems, supporting people and ensuring every project runs like clockwork.


About the Role

As our Operations Manager, you'll play a key leadership role overseeing day-to-day business operations, project workflows and company performance. You'll work closely with the Director and Project Managers to ensure our systems, people, and projects align with our broader outcomes — quality delivery, sustainability, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and improving operational systems, workflows, and reporting
  • Coordinating project scheduling, resourcing, and compliance requirements
  • Supporting tendering, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Overseeing quality assurance and health & safety practices
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
  • Building a strong team culture based on accountability, communication, and results
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and growth

About You

We're looking for someone with a balance of construction know-how and business acumen — a practical thinker who can keep projects moving and people motivated.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in operations, construction management, or project coordination
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A good understanding of NZ Building Code and Health & Safety regulations
