**The Role | Te mahi**
An exciting **Full Time** opportunity awaits a highly motivated **Food & Beverage Supervisor** to join our team at **The Lane Bar and Restaurant **on Salisbury Street in Christchurch.

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will provide leadership to the restaurant service team to maximise Food and Beverage profitability. Overseeing the food and beverage service delivery, food and beverage preparation, production and implementation of menus which are designed to deliver innovative F&B concepts meeting market and customer needs and falls within budgeted guidelines are the main considerations.

**Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa**
- Supervision of the restaurant service including conferencing, room service, and minibar operations whilst on shift.
- Use the collective people, and equipment resources efficiently to meet the needs of respective food outlets.
- Meet and exceed guest expectations, enabling the Food & Beverage operation of the hotel to be recognised as a purveyor of consistent, quality and value for money cuisine.
- Ensure food and beverage standards, preparation, presentation, and production techniques are established and monitored to meet Brand Standard guidelines and maintained at that level.
- Work with the restaurant and bar teams and take corrective action where appropriate, and within company guidelines, if standards are not met.
- Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire F&B Service team to meet Health & Safety regulations and Food Control guidelines complying with the Food Safety Act 2014.
- Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and amendments, Smoke Free Environments Act 1990 - New Zealand Legislation.

**Requirements**:
**About you | Ko koe tēnei**
- Available to work a minimum of 30hours per week
- Flexible to work rostered shifts, including weekends, late nights and public holidays.
- Previous senior Food & Beverage experience essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft
- Advanced Computer Skills - MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of PMS such as Opera (Would be advantageous)
- Holding a valid LCQ (Preferred but not essential)
- Valid Rights to Work in NZ
