Digital Marketing Lead

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Lead who's equal parts strategist and doer - someone who can zoom out to see the big picture, then zoom in to optimise every part of it.
You'll be the force behind our digital growth, owning website performance, SEO, paid campaigns, CRO and more. You'll work across teams, challenge assumptions, and bring others along for the ride. If you thrive on autonomy, accountability, and high-impact work, you'll love it here.
What you'll be doing
- Lead strategy and execution across SEO, paid media, email, and website optimisation
- Own and manage Starshipit's website, ensuring performance, SEO health, technical updates, and CRO initiatives are always on point
- Run A/B testing and optimisation programs using Hotjar, Google Optimize and similar tools
- Collaborate with our paid media agency to manage performance campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Meta and more, keeping spend efficient and ROAS strong
- Define and manage digital campaign measurement and attribution, drawing clear lines between effort and outcome
- Partner with our Growth Marketer to build lifecycle marketing programs across email, retargeting and remarketing
- Own the digital marketing budget, balancing short-term campaign needs with long-term growth investments
- Collaborate with teams across Sales, Product, and Customer to bring campaigns to life and maintain a cohesive digital journey
- Keep up with changes to platforms, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements like GDPR
- Support PR and brand awareness through sponsorships and industry relationships
What you'll bring
- 5+ years' experience in digital marketing
- Proven ability to drive measurable results across multiple digital channels
- Deep experience with website performance, lead gen funnels, and conversion rate optimisation
- Strong SEO and paid media knowledge, with confidence managing agency relationships
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and experimentation tools
- A strategic, analytical mindset — you can read data, extract insights, and turn them into action
- Strong communicator who can challenge ideas, rally teams, and clearly explain the "why" behind decisions
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Self-directed, with a bias for action and a test-learn-iterate mindset
