So, what is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
Our highly engaged Direct Service whānau come from a range of backgrounds, but they all share one thing - passion to help Accelerate financial progress for all New Zealanders. As a leader of the Customer Specialist team, you will lead a team of passionate Customer Specialists who are the voice of ASB and play a pivotal role in supporting our customers with simple and easy banking experiences every day, as they deal with variety of enquiries from a wide range of customers. You will be working in a fast paced environment and leading the team, inspiring our ASB purpose and vision through your outstanding leadership and coaching skills.
This is a 9-month fixed term opportunity based in the Sylvia Park Regional Centre

- Proven leadership with the ability to focus on the wider vision and strategy whilst managing both operational and efficiency metrics.
- You will need to be passionate and have the ability to drive and motivate others to provide unbeatable experiences and outcomes for our customers.
- Your leadership qualities and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment will enable you to give clear direction, guidance, and support as required.
- What's critical to the success of this role is your growth mind-set, you can manage ambiguity, time pressure, , influencing others, team building, resilience, and conflict management.
- We are looking for applicants who can build credibility with their team, are pro-active, and are confident in their ability to foster successful team environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management at all levels, ability to develop strong relationships.
- Fostering a culture of continuous learning, encouraging the team to continuously demonstrate our ASB values and mindsets.
