Medical Receptionist - Full Time

Auckland Family Medical Centre is a well-established general practice in Remuera/Newmarket, and we are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team.

We pride ourselves on a genuinely warm workplace culture. This vacancy has opened because our full-time receptionist is starting her studies next year, so we are seeking someone who can confidently take over her hours.

This is a frontline position within a busy and growing practice. The role includes welcoming patients, managing appointments, processing invoices and payments, answering calls, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the wider clinical team.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, ideally in primary care
  • Experience with Medtech Evolution (or strong ability to learn quickly)
  • Mandarin language skills are a bonus, but not required
  • Accurate numeracy and reconciliation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • 32 hours per week or more depending on clinic demand
  • Ability to start ASAP would be an advantage.
