At Technopak, we're dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and installing cutting-edge Dry Powder Packaging Machinery. As a key player in the industry, we're seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to join our team, coordinate purchasing, and drive production excellence.
About the Role: As a Procurement Specialist with Technopak, you'll make a real impact. You'll be entrusted with coordinating our purchasing and procurement efforts, ensuring the delivery of top-quality parts and assemblies to our factory on time. You'll work closely with internal teams and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work directly with and support out inventory manager.
- Collaborate with our in-house engineering design team to secure the right equipment and materials through effective procurement strategies.
- Work closely with project managers, engineering, and sales departments to track and maintain project budgets.
- Keep stakeholders informed by providing regular order status updates and participating in production meetings.
- Monitor and follow up on orders with production, warehousing, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.
- Manage suppliers to secure the best pricing and timely delivery of materials.
- Assist with inventory processes and quality assurance to meet project requirements.
About You: To succeed in this role, you'll bring supply and procurement expertise from engineering, OEM manufacturing, or production sectors. Safety-conscious and detail-oriented, you'll manage budgets, negotiate costs, and maintain organisation throughout the process. If you come from a technical/trade background, possess strong numerical skills, and a commercial mindset, we want to hear from you. Your ability to cover for the Inventory Manager will be a crucial asset.
