We are looking for a dynamic, community focussed individual to join our team as Procurement Specialist. Reporting to the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, this role is an active member of Councils Procurement team and plays a key role in the delivery of key project procurements.

Using an innovative lens this role will leverage knowledge and expertise to create solutions across the procurement network. This incumbent will have a collaborative approach, working to ensure alignment with council priorities and vision. This will involve liaising with a diverse range of key stakeholders to build long term, meaningful relationships, partnering to co-deliver.

To provide timely and accurate procurement assistance, from advice and support to taking the lead on the procurement process.
Experience partnering with internal stakeholders, with the ability to influence decision making and remove barriers.
Proven effective performance and delivery within a political environment.
Direct experience in delivering complex business processes.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to connect moving parts and think beyond the transactions at hand with a big picture view. The ability to identify opportunities, define goals and advance priorities while ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer-oriented sourcing and tender management strategies.
