The Role – Civil Project Manager

We're looking for a solid, experienced Project Manager – someone who knows the ropes of civil construction and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. You'll be managing projects from the ground up, keeping them on time, on budget, on spec, and above all, safe.

This role is a key player in SABRE's continued growth – and a chance to make your mark.

What You'll Be Getting Stuck Into:
  • Keeping Health & Safety at the top of the list – always.
  • Taking full ownership of your projects – planning, reporting, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Leading a tight-knit crew and keeping those key relationships ticking – both on-site and off.
  • Making sure we're using our plant, gear, and materials smartly and efficiently.
  • Driving quality outcomes that make us (and our clients) proud.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of experience managing civil projects.
  • Know-how across Bulk Earthworks, Land Development, Subdivisions, and Commercial Civils.
  • Strong background in H&S on NZ construction sites.
  • Financial smarts – budgets, forecasts, and programme management are your jam.
  • A natural leader who can manage and motivate a team.
  • Proactive, customer-focused, and sharp with your time management.
