Our client is dedicated to promoting Auckland as a vibrant and thriving place to live, work, visit, do business, and study. They are currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator to create engaging content for upcoming campaigns and the ever-changing daily offerings, working alongside a dynamic team.

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for crafting compelling stories and content, ensuring the social channels serve as a real-time information source that highlights everything happening in the city centre. Your goal will be to keep audiences informed, connected, and inspired.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all Facebook, Instagram (Meta Suite) and Tik Tok posts are planned, created and approved for the week ahead, meeting all timelines
  • Ensuring KPI's are met and posts optimised as appropriate
  • Lead a popular content series across Instagram and fortnightly user generated content series
  • Be responsible for social community management across all social platforms, responding to questions to build an engaged community and connection with the brand
  • Driving performance of each of the social channels ensuring metrics are reviewed, to inform success and planning

To be successful in this role , you will need:

  • Experienced in running and maintaining social media programmes
  • Marketing or Communications Degree
  • Excellent written, oral and communications skills
  • Excellent initiative, well organised with great attention to detail
  • Great time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Creativity, flair, and great interpersonal skills
