Social Media Video Editor

Now, we're hiring a Social Media Video Editor to join our in-house content team and bring our Agents' stories to life through compelling, high-impact video.

This role is not about filming or directing - it's about editing social-first content with precision, creativity, and speed. From Instagram Reels to YouTube Shorts, you'll transform raw footage into platform-optimised videos that reflect each Agent's personality and drive engagement across their social channels.

• Edit short-form, vertical videos specifically for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
• Craft fast-paced edits with strong hooks, seamless transitions, sound sync, captions, and trending effects
• Edit videos to meet platform-specific and brief-specific requirements, using your creative judgement to bring the brief to life
• Collaborate with our Social Media Content Creators and Social Media Lead to deliver video edits aligned with company brand tone
• Stay on top of trends in editing styles, viral content formats, audio memes, and social media culture
• Organise, archive and manage video files, assets, templates and project backups for efficient workflows
• Contribute creative input on how editing can enhance storytelling and video performance
• Continuously iterate based on performance metrics (watch time, completion rate, CTR) to improve future edits

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on video editing experience focused on social media content
• Proficiency in at least one major video editing platform of your choice (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Experience with or a strong willingness to learn basic colour grading for social video (training can be provided)
• A strong understanding of how to use sound effects (SFX) effectively, including working with or learning from an existing asset library
• Bonus skills in animation, motion graphics, or visual effects is a major plus
• Strong understanding of social algorithms and what drives video performance on each platform
• A keen sense of visual storytelling, especially for short-form and mobile-first formats
• Experience editing lifestyle, personal brand, or real estate video content is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently from a content brief, manage multiple edits per day, and consistently hit deadlines
• High attention to detail with colour, audio balance, pacing, and captions
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to manage edits, revisions, and stakeholder feedback
