About the Role

In this role, you'll be at the centre of our busy tertiary hospital environment, performing a wide range of CT procedures across acute, planned, inpatient, and outpatient settings. You'll also gain hands-on experience with our new state-of-the-art photon-counting CT scanner, a career-defining opportunity to work with the latest imaging technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating daily and weekly workloads across multiple CT platforms
  • Ensuring patients are scanned within agreed triaged referral timeframes
  • Supporting senior CT staff with workflow management
  • Collaborating with clinical and support teams to deliver seamless, patient-centred care

We also have opportunities suitable for new graduate MITs who may still be building these skills, and we strongly encourage you to apply if you are early in or new to practice as an MIT.

  • NZ Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB)
  • Proven CT experience

  • A commitment to cultural competency — whether you're already confident in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or ready to begin your journey

You'll also participate in our 24/7 rostered service, including on-call duties, ensuring patients receive care when they need it most.
