**About the Role**

Based primarily at Wellington Hospital, with rotations through Hutt Hospital as required, this hands-on training role will immerse you in the full spectrum of MRI imaging. You - ll receive clinical tutelage and scanning supervision from experienced MRI technologists, helping you build the skills and confidence to thrive in this specialised field.

**About the Team/Service Location**

As a trainee MRI technologist, you - ll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging. You - ll learn to:

- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans
- Operate advanced MRI equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation

This role is your gateway to MRI specialisation through the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). You - ll explore topics such as MRI technology, safety, imaging appearances, protocol development, and clinical reflection - all while gaining real-world experience in a supportive environment.

**About you**
- Eligible/enrolled in the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences in MRI (PGDipSc MRI) through the University of Auckland
- Eligible for registration with the New Zealand MRTB as a trainee MRI Technologist
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care
