We're on the lookout for a qualified Automotive Technician to join a high-volume, modern dealership in Christchurch. This workshop is busy, fast-paced, and built on quality – and they're looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You'll be joining a top-tier team with access to the latest diagnostic equipment and factory training to keep your skills sharp and your career moving forward.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a range of late-model vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Completing repair work to manufacturer standards and within allocated timeframes
  • Working collaboratively with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure great customer outcomes
  • Contributing to a safe, efficient, and professional workshop environment

What we're looking for:

  • NZ Level 4 Automotive Technician qualification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a dealership or workshop environment
  • Confidence in using diagnostic equipment and interpreting fault codes
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Current clean NZ driver's licence
