Automotive Employment is currently recruiting for several Automotive Technician roles across 6 popular brands in the wider Tauranga area, including Asian and European brands.

The role and skills sought
The employers in this region truly do make the list of the most desirable workplaces in New Zealand. You will be performing general servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on passenger vehicles.

Franchise dealership backgrounds are required for these roles, as is a relevant automotive trade qualification.

Ideally you will also have advanced diagnostic skills. We are also recruiting for one role that would suit a newly qualified technician, or perhaps a technician in the second year of their apprenticeship.

You should also be able to operate well in a team environment but still able to carry out your duties unsupervised.

A clean drivers licence and good communication skills are also required.

In return
Providing an hourly rate in line with skills and experience held, the wage rates range from $33 to $40 per hour for the fully skilled roles. The near or recently qualified role remunerates at $28 to $33 per hour.
