An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Automotive Technician to join our friendly, award-winning, and growing team.

Morrell Motors is one of Taupō's longest-standing automotive Dealerships, operating since 1983. We are a multi-franchise Dealership, proudly authorised agents for Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, LDV, KGM, Skoda (Police), Fiat, Alfa Romeo, RAM, Chrysler, Jeep & Dodge. We also specialise in European servicing and repairs.

To be successful in this position, your skills and attributes will include:

  • Relevant automotive trade qualification
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
  • WOF certification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience in a franchise workshop (advantageous but not essential)
  • Experience with any of our franchise brands (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Auto-electrical skills (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ability to work to deadlines and perform under pressure
  • High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Motivated, reliable, and committed to long-term employment
  • Great work ethic and solid personal values

This position is for a minimum of 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm. Additional overtime and rostered Saturday work is available.
