We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team at SouthMade Motorcycles. The role focuses on the repair, maintenance and service of motorcycles, with a primary focus on Harley Davidson models. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of motorcycle engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in motorcycles using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.

Perform routine maintenance,including oil changes, engine tune-ups and lubrication.

Dismantle, repair, adjust, and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions, carburetors and other components.

Replace worn or defective parts while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Conduct thorough inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or outline required work to achieve compliance.

Perform test rides and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

Provide recommendations on upgrades or modifications based on customer preference.

Provide roadside assistance to vehicle breakdown service calls.

Adhere to all workplace safety standards and employers policies.

Requirements.

A minimum of 3 years experience is required.

Proven experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic, preferably with Harley Davidson models.

Strong knowledge of motorcycle diagnostics, repair techniques and service manuals.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Relevant trade qualifications in motorcycle mechanics or equivalent experience.
