About the Role:
As a Business Support Associate, you'll be an integral part of the Global Markets distribution team, providing end-to-end operational, administrative, and analytical support. You'll bring structure, accuracy, and momentum to our workflows while helping us deliver exceptional experiences to our clients and stakeholders.

Deliver high-quality transaction processing support to the Global Markets distribution team.

Develop, produce, and continuously enhance sales and marketing materials to industry-leading standards.

Manage the full client onboarding lifecycle, autonomously driving onboarding and targeting initiatives to create capacity for Origination Managers.\

Maintain key management information including client contacts, revenue reporting, marketing activity and other business insights.

Build strong working relationships with support personnel across Corporate Banking and Business Banking NZ to improve efficiency and communication flow.

Partner with Risk and Compliance to refine processes and balance regulatory requirements with exceptional client experience.

Represent Global Markets in projects relating to client acquisition, process improvement, data management, and risk.

Support the Global Markets Leadership Team with operational needs and contribute to the business's strategic direction.

Assist with general tasks that keep the operating rhythm of the team running smoothly.

Setting the quality standard for Global Markets communications and producing collateral that clearly communicates our value proposition.

Managing core operational activities, including pipeline reporting, revenue tracking, and other key performance metrics.

Continuously improving the efficiency of transaction processing, onboarding, and client experience—identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Overseeing day-to-day office management and operational tasks such as Health & Safety requirements, Continuing Education records, IT coordination, and monthly accounts management.

Responding quickly and effectively to requests for support, using initiative and sound judgement to solve problems and make decisions.

Coordinating internal and client events to a professional standard.

To excel, you'll bring a combination of technical capability, professional maturity, and a proactive mindset. This includes:

Strong experience preparing high-quality client presentations using relevant software tools.

High proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.

Understanding of financial accounting or experience analysing company financial statements.

A track record of streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency.

An analytical mindset, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong time-management skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with polished written and verbal communication.

Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
