About the opportunity

We are now actively seeking a Senior Associate for one of Auckland's well-regarded general practices. This is a broad role for an experienced General Practitioner, most notably covering property, private client, leasing and commercial work.

As a senior member of the team, you'll play a key part in supporting and mentoring junior solicitors, contributing to the firm's continued growth and success. With the firm actively expanding, there's genuine scope to shape your leadership path and progress toward Partnership in the near future.

Whilst this role will suit an ambitious candidate with a strong work ethic, no one in the firm is interested in seeing you toil away for 70 hours per week; there is a strong work-life balance evident at all levels of the business.

Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years PQE
  • General Practitioner background with a particular focus on conveyancing, light commercial & private client.
  • Natural leader who is passionate about developing the skillset of others
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport with clients, fellow staff members and other stakeholders
